He glanced away from Gemini and to Amithi, but figured she'd either gotten attached to Isa and Kimi and was worried, or there was something more to it and it was probably personal so he decided he'd ask her in private if he was going to at all

Malik groaned slightly and looked up at her when he woke up, then pointed over at a door that was half-hidden by drapes, "You can lock it from the inside if you feel the need to..."

Although she was tired, Isa felt equally unsettled. Somehow it was hard for her to fall back asleep, but she laid there in silence, willing herself to relax. 'I can't believe I've lived and slept in the streets and forests for the past year and now I can't sleep...' Thinking this, she grimaced.

He thought for a moment, trying to figure out how to shorten it up into a sentence, "Well, a group of chosen including myself joined forces to stop the gods because of something we all believed in, then everyone just kinda...set us up in place of the ones we defeated. Now I'm the last one alive"

2009-06-18 [Lady Kari]: Realizing she was in a group of chosen, she prayed their interaction with Malik was necessary only to escape from the Empire. "Oh... I see... What was wrong with the gods in the first place?"

2009-06-18 [Lady Kari]: "Oh..." Her hazel eyes drifted to his. "Thank you."

2009-06-18 [Lady Kari]: "You can always do something... I mean... The common story told is that you fought the gods because you were ambitious and jealous of their power, but if that's not true then neither is your doubt in helping to heal the world." At times Isa can be freakishly optimistic...

2009-06-18 [Lady Kari]: Still staring back at him, she felt a strange pull toward him. Reaching out, she cleared away the fiery red hairs that fell into his eyes. Something about the moment made sense to close the space between them.

2009-06-18 [DragonicTunes]: He felt his cheeks warm up a little when she touched his face, but he didn't object. Malik curled the arm he had under her around to run his fingers through her hair gently, then he leaned in, closing the last of the gap, and pressed his lips to her's softly.

2009-06-18 [Lady Kari]: Cupping her hand on his cheek, she kissed him back submissively. Although she was especially timid with him, he was also hot... and not to mention the greatest lord of reigning darkness on the planet. That's intimidating...

Ari narrowed her eyes at her then looked at Akio "This Aya was one of the ones who started all this, after her dragon died, she sort of went into hiding, very few know where she is now...She has many bounty hunters who work for her..."

Ari snorted "What reasons, They wanted power, and to rule over all, they felt that if they brought down the gods they would become powerful...out of all the ones who fought them, only Two are left...They are nothing but fools"

Akio growled, "Why can't you see how contradictory this whole war is? There's nothing to be gained for anyone in the end, it's just a cycle of death for both sides"

Barely awake, Isa wriggled to the end of the bed. Due to a misjudgment in her depth perception, she fell with her butt flat on the floor. "Uff! ... Wasn't expecting that..." Looking up, she saw Kimi and Malik. "Good morning... -ish..." She smiled at Kimi, missing her friend's energetic personality.

2009-06-20 [Lady Kari]: Isa chuckled, referring to the comment about Akio. "That was theatrical." Something in her bones gave her the feeling that something ominous and dangerous was approaching, but she knew not what.

2009-06-20 [DragonicTunes]: Malik opened his mouth to reply just as somebody around Isa's height burst in, "Hey Malik! Can I-..." Yu looked at the two women on Malik's floor and grinned a little, "Am I interrupting something?"
Malik growled at him, "Can you go away? Yes, yes you can..."
